During this workshop we'll be shooting at two favorite locations for shooting HDR and detail images: The Southeast Railway Museum in Duluth, GA and Old Car City in White, GA. Both locations are a treasure trove of heavy metal grunge images. The colors, textures and little details are just amazing!
You may have seen Old Car City highlighted on Georgia Traveler or a number of other TV and Media outlets. This place is known as a photographer's paradise and it's easy to see why with over 34 acres of gorgeous wooded park-like property with 6 1/2 miles of walking trails showcasing over 4,500 OLD cars and trucks and the assorted school buses!
You will learn a variety of techniques—both in the field and in the classroom—that will allow you to advance both your technical skills and artistic vision. We focus on a number of professional field techniques to help you create dramatic and powerful nature images including:
- Working with dramatic light and creating HDR images that look great
- The fundamentals of powerful composition
- Light Painting on location in a unique location
